Also known as the "Cider Gum" this eucalyptus, if left unpruned, can grow into a large tree of over 12 meters. Known for its young glaucous-blue, rounded leaves, this can be kept cut back to produce an attractive shrub in a mixed. Being a native of Tasmania, this plant will need full sun and shelter, with young plants especially needing winter protection.
This may also be grown as a container plant and brought into a conservatory or glasshouse over winter.
Prefers a slightly acidic soil, but will tolerate any moist well-drained soil.
